Perth’s high-end shopping district is being revamped as 15 luxury brands move into the west end of Murray Street in the Perth CBD.

Shopping outlets previously housed in King Street, in  the CBD, are moving to a 250m block along Murray Street, while new outlets also join the Perth market.

Works are expected to cost around 10 million dollars per shop as new storefronts – such as Dior – open to the public in the next six months.

Brands including Hugo Boss, Cartier, Fendi, Dior, Chanel, and Gucci are among those undertaking a makeover as they move into the new Murray Street precinct.

Omega, Hardy Brothers, Kailis, and Tiffany & Co are among other shops hitting the market.

The heritage-listed Faulding Building will house the Italian brand Fendi and French jeweller Cartier

Paul Rowe from The Business Squad told 7NEWS that WA was an “absolute destination” for luxury shopping.

“We have resources. We have money. We have a very successful economy. So, there will be more of these brands coming,” Mr Rowe said.

It is reported the City of Perth is in conversation with other international outlets.

Some new businesses will come to the detriment of the former luxury strip on Kings Street as they relocate nearby.
