Jim Tsagalis
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jim has over 25 years of commercial property experience including retail, industrial and commercial property, sales and asset management. He is a leader in the property industry and recognised as one of the best in Australia. He has been recognised as one of 50 most influential people in property by The West Australian newspaper and most recently in the Business News Power 500.
He has a thorough understanding of the national property scene and has dominated the CBD and suburban leasing markets for over 20 years in Western Australia. His ability to finalise projects is well documented, which has served to translate into substantial value for his clients.
He has transacted over 2,000 retail leasing deals, averaging around 70 deals per year and overseen more projects than any other agent in Western Australia.
He has also sold in excess of $350 million in real estate, including Plaza Arcade ($48 million), Southern River Shopping Centre ($27 million) and Thornlie Square Shopping Centre ($21 million) making him one of WA’s leading brokers of commercial property. He is an astute property executive regularly leading asset management enhancement strategies.
Jim is a leader in the national retail property market scene, regularly visiting the eastern states and abroad to source tenants and conceive projects.
Jim is also a regular speaker at national and international retail forums.
Jim has extensive experience in analysing and implementing investment strategies aimed at increasing the value of assets and maintaining their currency over the investment’s life cycle.
He is actively involved in applying master planning and investment analysis to the various assets and businesses that he is involved. This is extended from the built form to Human Resource Management.
Denise Johnson
GENERAL MANAGER
With over 25 years experience in the property industry, including retail, commercial, land development, marketing and fund management, Denise has extensive knowledge in the operational and financial management of property assets.
She has a particular insight into the food & beverage market as well as across all levels of retail centre asset classes from both client and agency roles.
As a trusted advisor to clients, her keen focus on the financial return of operational expenses and capital projects comes from having managed a sub-regional Centre through redevelopment, and her previous experience managing investment syndicates.
Denise’s strength in easily building relationships and managing teams coupled with her outstanding technical skills makes her a natural leader with a passion for sourcing strategic solutions. Her senior role within Lease Equity provides her the opportunity to share her expert knowledge throughout the entire organisation with the enthusiasm she is well known for.
Zoe Tsagalis
DIRECTOR
Zoe has experience across the property industry, with a background in property development, property management, and operational improvement. She has worked on mixed-use and residential projects, contributing across various stages including feasibility, planning, design, and delivery.
Zoe began her career at Lease Equity, where she supported research and financial analysis across the company’s property management and development portfolio. Through this role, she developed a strong understanding of property performance, operational considerations, and asset outcomes.
She now serves as Director at Lease Equity, contributing to business strategy across the Property Management and Leasing divisions. Her role focuses on operational improvement, process optimisation, and the integration of technology to support efficient and sustainable business growth.
Zoe also has experience in hospitality-focused operations and financial management, further supporting her understanding of property performance and tenant requirements.
James Hopkins
DIRECTOR - RETAIL LEASING
James has over 15 years commercial property experience across a broad range of commercial, retail, residential and industrial asset classes, with a particular emphasis on retail leasing, valuations, feasibilities, analytical reporting and analysis for a variety of commercial and retail projects.
James is a licensed valuer with broad industry knowledge and analytical approach. This has seen him develop a reputation for providing exceptional client service with an emphasis on adding value to an asset. Through his comprehensive understanding of the retail and commercial markets, James continues to deliver beyond clients’ expectations and ensures sustainable value is added to their assets.
James heads the Retail Leasing Team at Lease Equity.
He has extensive leasing involvement in many high-profile assets ranging from the Perth CBD, shopping centre and high street developments, including Allendale Square, Beaux Lane, Vilage Green, Brookfield Place, Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre, Watertown Brand Outlet Centre and Kingsway City Shopping Centre.
Anna Seed
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR
With a career spanning over 35 years in the commercial real estate industry, Anna has extensive experience in retail, sales and leasing administration.
Specialising in retail leasing administration, Anna has valuable expertise in executive support, liaising with external stakeholders in terms of correspondence and compliance matters, and preparing documentation in accordance with relevant Acts.
Anna’s major role at Lease Equity is assistant to the Managing Director, where her knowledge and experience is well utilised.
Throughout her extensive tenure in the industry, Anna has built both national and local tenant relationships, contributing to her exceptional understanding of tenant and landlord dynamics.
Jared Dimbleby
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - RETAIL LEASING
Jared has more than 10 years real estate experience, with over 5 years at Lease Equity.
He has achieved many outstanding results having leased Hillarys Boardwalk, Luna Maxi Shopping Centre & Rendezvous Hotel, Lakelands Shopping Centre, Brighton Village, Banksia Grove Shopping Centres and City West.
Recently he has project leased North Baldivis Shopping Centre and the Murdoch Square health precinct, combined representing more than 3,000m².
He consistently transacts over 50 leasing deals per year making him one of the most prolific agents in Australia.
Andrew Wood
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Andrew has over 10 years’ experience across multiple property disciplines, Andrew brings a strong commercial approach to managing complex and high‑value property portfolios. His experience spans retail, commercial and industrial assets, with a particular focus on performance, risk management, and client outcomes.
Andrew has led the management of shopping centres and core CBD assets, overseeing assets in high‑profile, high‑traffic environments. This includes responsibility for complex tenancy mixes, premium presentation standards, outgoings control, compliance, strong financial acumen, leasing coordination, and stakeholder management. He is highly experienced in working with institutional owners, retailers, office tenants, and consultants to deliver consistent operational excellence.
Known for sound judgement, leadership capability, and a solutions‑focused mindset, Andrew provides trusted advice and strategic oversight while ensuring assets perform efficiently and in line with broader investment objectives.
