Shopping Centre Manager | International Client
January 2024A new opportunity exists within the organisation for a dynamic and ambitious Centre Manager to lead a team of retail property professionals.
Working in partnership with an international landlord, this is a senior managerial role.
The successful applicant will have current experience in Retail Property, demonstrating effective management of a busy Centre and supervision of a team of Finance, Marketing, Administration and Facilities Management staff.
Responsibilities of the role include:
– Knowledge and management of forecasting revenue, expenses and charges for Shopping Centre budgeting.
– Maintaining and fostering a close working relationship with the client and the active working team including Leasing Executives.
– Devise pro-active strategies to strengthen the financial position of the asset and actively work on “value add” solutions.
– Lease compliance.
– Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with retail tenants.
– Manage tenant income and expenses including arrears management and resolving payment issues.
– Lead and oversee on-site team and maintain a positive team environment.
– Consistently deliver the best customer experience.
– Monitor presentation of the Centre on a daily basis.
Skills & other requirements
– Strong background in Property Management Systems such as MRI or CMS, together with Excel and Powerpoint.
– Extensive knowledge/experience in retail property sector
– Advanced financial acumen and negotiating skills
– Strong leadership skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Professional work ethic and presentation.

Remuneration is commensurate with the role.
