One of Australia’s leading commercial property real estate agency has made a number of key appointments at the beginning of 2020.

The company employs almost 50 staff and has brokered over $2B of property transactions in leasing, sales and property management.

James Hopkins has been appointed Associate Director assuming responsibility for the Retail Leasing Department. James has been a long term staff member at Lease Equity commencing in 2013. This is a significant appointment as the retail leasing capability of the company is considered one of the best in Australia.

“James is a prolific deal-doer” but more importantly, he has gained great knowledge and applies his expertise in a methodological manner which will benefit our team and clients in this new leadership role” said Managing Director, Jim Tsagalis.

Lease Equity has also engaged a Senior Marketing Manager, Samantha Stewart, to take responsibility for the marketing of Kingsway City and Waterford Plaza Shopping Centre. “Samantha has great experience in marketing sub-regional shopping centres. Each of these centres is market leading in its catchment and with Samantha’s expertise applied to each of the centres, we are confident they will continue to improve their performance” said Jim Tsagalis

Following the appoint to manage and lease Watertown Brand Outlet Centre in West Perth, the company has employed an experienced team led by Alison Bunn. “We have a comprehensive and detailed strategy for repositioning Watertown Brand Outlet Centre. It has many outstanding features including its tremendous trading. We will seek to reposition the centre by focusing on the centre’s advantages” said Jim Tsagalis.
