With over 20 years experience of management and a Commerce degree in Property. Benefitting from a wide variety of experience with Lease Equity’s most prominent clients, Andrew has been at the forefront of the company’s philosophy to create added value in retail assets under the company’s management and development via dynamic and proactive management.

Amongst his many achievements to date, Andrew has been managerially responsible for the redevelopment of the iconic Plaza Arcade to become Perth’s number one CBD retail arcade by virtue of increased traffic flow. Andrew has been involved in every aspect of the redevelopment inclusive of feasibilities; finance procurement, and liaising with all consultants inclusive of the architects, project managers and builders. The result is an arcade of unrivalled retail function and achieving record retail rents for the Perth CBD.

Andrew has also been integrally involved in the redevelopment phases of Waterford Plaza Shopping Centre which is designated as the District Shopping Centre for the City of South Perth. This $50M+ redevelopment contains two supermarkets and over 60 specialty tenants with a feature High Street for a alfresco retailing experience.

As Senior Director of our Asset Management Department, Andrew leads a committed team of 15 staff that now manages over 12 retail shopping centre’s in addition to a wide range of prominent assets inclusive of CBD retail, sub-regional and neighbourhood shopping centre’s, bulky goods showroom developments, suburban strip retail, office and numerous smaller managements.

With highly advanced skills in Excel, Andrew has written many critical programs for Lease Equity including formation of a concise, user friendly, budget track which has proven to be invaluable to not only our staff, but importantly to our clients, which has been utilised by Lease Equity for over six years. This complex spreadsheet automatically calculates rentals at review to the cent and to the day, recoveries, marketing levies and differing recoverability ratios through redevelopment to name a few of the functions.

Andrew is responsible for tailoring development feasibility structure to manage cash flow during property redevelopments. This often includes liaison with financiers, accountants, project managers, development managers and architects.
